A Few Favourites

These items have been my favourite products to use as of lately. Considering its still winter here in Australia (sigh) I have started to readjust just a few items of my makeup and skincare to get me excited for the warmer months to come!

Kora Organics Vitamin Enhanced Lip Balm:

This has been my new favourite lip product find as of late. When its winter time, my lips always fall prey to dry and crackly skin. But, this product has really made a difference by leaving my lips feeling soft, moisturised and hydrated.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette

I think its safe to say that I love this palette. It provides the perfect glow for winter (I mean, who doesn't love a glow all year round?) without looking too glittery. The colours from left to right are Radiant Light, Incandescent Light and Dim Light, and I love them all!

Maybelline New York Lash Sensational

When it comes to mascara, I not really a big fan of products that make my lashes look clumpy, I much prefer natural, full looking lashes and this mascara achieves this for me. The wand is curved, which I think really helps reach those small lashes in the corner of my eyes. I usually wipe of the excess of the brush back into the tube then apply and it works great!

The Body Shop Lipstick in "Truly, Madly, Deeply"

This is a perfect nude, pink beige colour that I have been wearing most days throughout winter. It is a super creamy formula that is a great companion to a bold eye and looks great with a clear gloss over the top.

Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation

So I totally forgot about this foundation for a while, then priceline had a sale on Rimmel products a few months back and I decided to pick it up again. I have the colour "103 True Ivory" and is one of my favourite, low priced foundations out there! It really does provide a skin brightening affect and I'm excited to carry it over into the warmer months with some bronzing.

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer

Carrying on from the foundation, this concealer is great, too. I have the colour "Ivory" and I really like to use this product to highlight under my eyes, forehead and along my nose. I find that it has great wear time and is a great alternative for a less expensive concealer.

Maybelline Colour Tattoo: Bad to the Bronze

I have been a fan of the colour tattoo's for a while now and I recently picked up the colour "Bad to the Bronze" and I can totally understand why soo many people have been raving about it. It's great. I like to wear it all over the lid with lots of black mascara, or with a pressed, glittery pigment in the centre of my eye with a dark brown crease. I will definitely be wearing this in the warmer months as they really do stay on all day.

Milani Baked Blush: Luminoso

So, this beauty is probably one of my favourite blushes of all time. I'm all about those peachy/coral colours and I have been loving this ever since I picked in up in Hawaii last year. It adds such a luminous (hense the name, I suppose) sheen to the cheeks and its quite a build-able product. It really is beautiful and It makes me more excited to try more Milani products. (Milani ships to Australia, so fellow Aussie's check out the link above!)

Natio Gradual Tan Lotion

Now, considering Im a very pale human as of right now, I have started using my Natio gradual tan lotion to prepare my skin for the warm weather to come! This product smells amazing, think cinammon/chai latte and it is a very mositurising product that provides a lovely, but natural glow to your skin. I also think its priced really well for the amount of product that you get!

Thank you so much for reading!

Let me know some of your favourite products you have been loving lately!

Mikayla.
